Biobased Materials Section

The bio based materials sector utilizes agricultural residues such as straw to produce products such as furan, tetrahydrofuran, polytetrahydrofuran, furan formaldehyde, bio based methanol, bio based ethylene glycol, 2-methylfuran, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran, etc. The remaining lignin is used as biomass fuel for thermoelectric engineering, and the generated carbon dioxide is comprehensively utilized. The remaining grass and wood ash is used as organic and inorganic composite fertilizer raw material, forming a green circular economy development model. The industrial chain has been listed as a national clean production demonstration project, a national green manufacturing system integration project, and a national "100 towns" clean heating demonstration project.
