Health Science Division to Carry out Shutdown Overhaul Activities

After careful planning and preparation, the once-a-year shutdown overhaul of the Health Division officially began. Since April 11, the off-duty time of all employees of the Health Division has been adjusted to 7: 00 p.m. and a temporary maintenance headquarters has been set up for the overhaul. Zhang Shengbin, general manager of the Health Division, is the commander-in-chief. A maintenance report meeting is scheduled to be held at 3: 00 p.m. every day to discuss the work progress of the day and the next work plan.
Due to the damage of bag-type dust removal leather bags in the power plant, the high pressure of dust accumulation, the impact on environmental protection indicators and the long-term operation of the boiler, Liu Zhongmin, director of the power plant workshop, arranged 6 boiler personnel to replace 1440 leather bags in a centralized manner. During the replacement process, it was very difficult to pull out the leather bag due to serious dust accumulation, which made them wear dust masks and safety helmets, and they would be covered with dust all day after working. However, the dirty and hard working environment did not affect the progress of the maintenance task. After 10 days of unremitting efforts, the bag dust removal belt was finally completely replaced.
The cooling tower of the power plant has not been cleaned for a long time, resulting in serious mud accumulation. The director of the power plant workshop led the team members to carry out comprehensive dredging. During the cleaning process, because there was no sump and water pump could not be used to pump water, only the iron ash could be manually cleaned and loaded into the trolley and lifted out with an electric hoist. After 4 days of efforts, the silt of the cooling tower was finally cleaned up.
The slag accumulation in the hydrolysis kettle of the furfural workshop is serious. Due to the relatively high hydrolysis kettle and the climbing operation in the restricted space, the maintenance project is destined to be very difficult. Duan Hongwei, director of the furfural workshop, led the staff on duty to meet the difficulties and crushed the slag accumulation with electric picks. The day shift and night shift were two shifts, and the slag accumulation in the hydrolysis kettle was removed for 6 consecutive days.
In order to stimulate the enthusiasm of work and mobilize the enthusiasm of employees to actively participate in maintenance activities, the General Department of the Health Science Division also launched a photo collection activity of "the most beautiful workers" with the theme of major maintenance activities.
The overhaul was successfully completed on April 26. The complete success of the overhaul activities is inseparable from the unity, mutual assistance and selfless dedication of all the staff of the Health Division, as well as their serious and responsible work attitude, overtime work, not afraid of dirt and tiredness, which fully demonstrates the steel spirit of the staff of the Health Division who dare to fight tough battles and are not afraid of hardship.
