Mainly produces furfuryl alcohol, furfural, 2-methyl furan, 2-methyl tetrahydrofuran and other products

Furfural is an organic chemical raw material, mainly used for lubricating oil refining, furfuryl alcohol production, production of maleic anhydride, tetrahydrofuran and so on. It can also produce medicine, veterinary medicine, furan resin, furfuryl alcohol resin, furfuryl ketone resin, etc. As well as preservatives, disinfectants, pesticides and rust removers, in food spices, dyes and other industries are also used.
Furfuryl alcohol is an important organic chemical raw material. Mainly used for the production of various properties of furan resin, furfuryl alcohol urea-formaldehyde resin and phenolic resin, but also for dyes, phenolic resin, furan resin solvent or dispersant, wetting agent, etc.
Available for use as a solvent in solution polymerization, 2-methylfuran can also be used in the production of pentadiene, pentanediol, acetyl-propanol, ketones and 2 - methyl-tetrahydrofuran, as well as Vitamin B1, chloroquine phosphate and primaquine phosphate. It is a good solvent for pyrethroid agrochemicals, food essences and flavors, and may be applied in pesticides such as the pyrethroid prallethrin.
Colorless liquid. It has an ether-like odor. Soluble in water, the solubility in water increases with the decrease of temperature. Soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone, benzene and chloroform and other organic solvents.
